Attract Your Ideal Partner by Focusing Your Mind
Do You Know What You Want?
Many people express their desire to find a partner without truly understanding what they seek. If you're in this position, you might overlook the right person even if they're right in front of you. This exercise aims to focus your mind, guiding your intent towards attracting your ideal partner. Approach this with openness and playfulness for the best results. Grab a piece of paper and indulge in this exercise.
What Do You Really Want?
Be honest with yourself. List the physical qualities you find important, such as age group, hair color, or height. State these qualities in the positive. Instead of focusing on what you don't want, frame it positively. For example, say you want someone who is fit, not someone who is not fat.
What Values and Qualities Do You Want?
Think about the qualities you seek in a person. Consider attributes like humor, honesty, or loyalty—qualities that the person offers to others. State these qualities positively as well.
What Kind of Connection Do You Want?
Decide what kind of connection you wish to establish. Whether it's fun and playful or open and sincere, keep it reasonable and enjoyable. Avoid overly intense intentions, as they might deter potential partners.
What Do You Have to Offer?
Reflect on your positive qualities. Are you smart, funny, or caring? Consider what the other person would gain by meeting you. List all the qualities and values you possess.
How Can Others Benefit?
Think about how others, including your friends or businesses, would benefit from your connection with this person. Envision a positive ripple effect.
Do You Deserve This Person?
Review your list of desired qualities and values. Ask yourself if you truly believe you deserve someone like this. If you encounter inner conflicts or doubt, hypnosis can help overcome these obstacles.
Relax, Time to Have Some Fun
Find a quiet, comfortable space where you won't be disturbed. Clear your mind and let go of any critical thoughts. Count backward from ten to one, allowing yourself to relax deeply.
Focus Your Mind to Attract Your Partner
Visualize the person's physical qualities one by one. Imagine their aura changing as you add qualities and values. Connect with them through a cord of light, feeling the energy exchange. Look through their eyes at yourself, adding the qualities and values you offer. Express gratitude for their presence in your life.
Take Notice
Observe your surroundings and pay attention to any hunches or intuitions guiding you. Have faith in the process and allow it to unfold naturally. Remember, the key is to have fun and stay open to the possibilities. Share your experiences with me at adam@adamfistler.com
About The Author
Adam Fistler is a Behavioral Change Consultant, Board Certified Hypnotist, Certified 5-PATH® Hypnotist, and former owner of the Baltimore Hypnosis Center. A member of the International 5-PATH® Hypnosis Association and certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists, Adam has studied hypnosis, behavior change, and the relationship between thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behavior for more than two decades.
His perspective is shaped by more than professional training. Adam has also lived through addiction and recovery firsthand across South Jersey and the Philadelphia region, including surviving on the streets of Camden. This gives him a deeply personal understanding of the struggle from both sides: as a practitioner who has helped others create change and as someone who has had to confront his own deeply ingrained patterns and beliefs.
During his own recovery, Adam returned to the principles of hypnosis, mindfulness, self-talk, and behavioral change that he had studied throughout his career. He discovered that recovery could be about more than simply managing cravings or avoiding relapse—it could also be an opportunity to understand the beliefs, emotional patterns, and experiences that had shaped his behavior.
Today, Adam combines his professional experience with the lessons of his own journey to serve clients throughout South Jersey, Philadelphia, and beyond, helping others explore the possibility of meaningful, lasting change. His approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, practical tools, and the belief that people are more than the behaviors they are trying to overcome.
